As the owners of Ansür Saddlery, LLC, Carole and Don Weidner supply a combination of many years of organizational management and equine experience to the Company.
As President, Carole not only brings a wealth of financial, customer service and sales management experience to the firm, but also extensive dressage training and competition experience. She earned national dressage championships with her horse “Bronze” from the Morgan Horse Association and United States Dressage Federation throughout his competitive career. Carole rode Bronze from the time he was a rambunctious youngster to an FEI level dressage horse. She and Don have owned him his entire life.
From 1991 through 2004 Carole and Don operated a modest breeding operation…Morgan horses and Dutch Warmbloods. It was a rare thing to not to see a couple of brood mares and their babies peacefully grazing in Weidner’s fields.
Carole is using her professional skills to direct the sales, financial, saddle manufacturing and design matters for the Company. Her years of overseeing customer service operations coupled with intensive horse breeding, training and riding experience is a combination that allows her to assist Ansür’s customers with ease when they have riding or saddle issues to discuss.
Don has over 40 years of organizational management and operations experience. He was a successful city manager in five different cities, each with increasing size and responsibilities. He also used his executive management skills to create and operate a highly successful water technology business for over five years.
When the Ansür saddle became a more than full-time business, Don joined Carole in the operation of the Company and is now Vice President. He has assumed responsibility for organizational operations including legal affairs, equipment procurement, personnel, government and vendor relations, quality control and shipping.
Don and Carole are both easily accessible and look forward to talking with Ansür saddle owners and interested riders each day. |
