Saddle sits level to slightly uphill with no supplemental padding.

There is even contact between the underside of the saddle and the top of the horse’s back.

There is a very slight gap behind the shoulder that may need to be filled to ensure that the rider’s weight is borne on the underside panels of the saddle, rather than on the channel pillow.

Shims may be used if the owner desires.
