For anyone interested in long term effects of the Ansür, let me tell you my experience.

I bought the Ansür two years ago, shortly after it became available. I bought it especially for Gus, who had had three different saddles, and who hated all of them. With the Ansür, his shoulder was more free, and he willingly went forward to the bit. Not only that, but I could feel his back muscles, and thus I was sure he could feel my aids more easily, and in fact I could aid more lightly - a nudge instead of a push.

I use my Ansür on all of my horses, and I have quite a variety. It fits them all, and the only adjustment I need to make is a pommel pad for my mutton-withered horse. I have used this saddle for two years, and have never had a sore back on any of my horses. I love the way it makes me sit, I love the communication I have with my horses through it, and I love the way their necks are developing, nice and long and well-developed on the top, since they don't have to squish their necks back to protect their hurting backs.

I will never willingly ride any other saddle, and I will never put another reed dressage saddle on my horses again. Thanks... for inventing such wonderful equipment that makes my horses comfortable and trainable.
