"Here at Oakwood Farm, we have seven Ansür Saddle owners. After almost two years of riding exclusively in the Ansür, I feel I can put to rest any doubts anyone still has about "Pressure on the spine, Weight displacement, etc."

NONE of our horses (which range from narrow TB's to wide warmbloods) have ever had any back soreness. Quite the opposite is true. None of our horses have ever gone better or moved as freely. All the horses at Oakwood love their Ansür Saddles!

We've also been lucky to get one of the first Jumping models. We've had it only a few weeks, but it's already gotten a unanimous thumbs up.

The horses at Oakwood Farm thank you for listening to them and giving them a saddle they love!"

"Well, I've had my Ansür for about a month now. I ordered it at the USDF symposium. Here's my experience:

The first time I rode in it, when I posted I thought, 'Oh my God, I'm going to fall off the front of this horse!'Since the stirrup bars are placed further back, it threw off my balance. It took about a week of practice to post without falling forward. The sitting trot was easier, never any balance problems there. The saddle did however, make it glaringly clear that I was VERY crooked. Completely collapsing on my right side. So I am working on that. Also, I found that I was sore after the first few rides, because without a tree, the horse seems 'rounder'under the saddle, and my legs have a larger circumference to go around. The saddle has made riding for me challenging, in that I'm discovering all these things I have to fix with my position, overall, this is for the better for my horse and my riding.

Now for the horse. A 15 year old t.b. gelding and a classic chestnut, very sensitive skin, hates being saddled. Sadly, he still does. But, he no longer tries to fall out from under me when I massage his back. We are working medium trot and canter, half pass and changes. I feel my seat aids are much more effective. The saddle doesn't help me sit the medium trot as much as my previous saddle did, but again, this is probably for the better, I'll just keep practicing.

The cherry on top, at the Cedar Downs Spring Dressage show, I received my highest score ever with this horse. A 68% at 2nd level test 3. Hmmmmm, guess there is something to this saddle. I will continue to work on my position. I'm pretty sure my horse is happier."
