I love it and feel very secure in the saddle. On a 4 hr very hilly and demanding training riding near Front Royal the Ansür stayed in place no matter what the terrain, even without a breast collar or crupper.

What responsiveness. And what comfort – for me and the horse

I LOVE my Ansur saddle! I was having a terrible time finding a new saddle that was comfortable and that allowed me to sit correctly. Quite by accident I discovered the Ansur! I finally truly understand what balance means. My riding has improved so much. I can feel my horses, and they can feel me! What responsiveness. And what comfort – for me and the horse. I threw on my western saddle for a trail ride recently, and by the end I was wondering why I ever thought it was comfortable. My gelding, Chex, was wondering the same thing – he didn’t seem to be “hearing” any I was “saying.” It was not a fun ride.
The next time out I used my Ansur, and the difference was unbelievable! I was so comfortable I could have ridden for hours. Chex was so responsive that the entire ride was a joy for us both.
I hope I NEVER have to ride in that western saddle again – or any
other treed saddle for that matter.

About halfway thru the ride, which is about the time my feet usually start to hurt from pressure on the ball of my foot in the stirrup, I realized that my feet didn't hurt...

others in my group had to stop and readjust from time to time as there are some really steep slopes, but the Ansür stayed right where I wanted it! Also my fellow wasn't at all sore after our ride...

My hip no longer hurts when I get off & I am not fighting to stay in position...  Until I got the Ansür, I needed 4 or 5 different saddles so that I would always (hopefully) have one that fit each horse....now those saddles are gathering dust, The Ansür fits everything that I put it on because it molds to each individual back...
